Terms of Use

The ground rules for using Thumbster.ai, written to be read.

Last updated: 7 October 2026

By using Thumbster.ai you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

The service

Thumbster.ai is a free typing test with optional accounts, leaderboards and challenges. It is provided for fun. We may change, pause or remove features at any time.

Accounts and usernames

Fair play

Leaderboards and challenges only mean something if scores are genuine. You agree not to:

We decide whether a score is Official or Practice, and we may remove scores, challenges or accounts that we reasonably believe break these rules. How official scores work.

Acceptable use

You also agree not to:

Your content and ours

Your username and scores may be displayed publicly on leaderboards and on challenge links you create, as described in the privacy policy. The Thumbster name, design and software belong to us. You may share your scores and challenge links freely.

Use it sensibly

Never use Thumbster while driving or when it could put you or anyone else at risk. Take breaks, and stop if typing causes discomfort. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

No guarantees

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, or that scores and rankings will never be lost or corrected. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Thumbster at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
